Bless Your Work, Lord!

Father, would you bless the work done in your Son’s name, even the work performed by your servant? As you blessed the work and life of Hezekiah, even so bless me Father. In a moment we are swept away by an evil disease. Teach my lips and heart to praise you for the salvation you have given to your ransomed people. As Hezekiah spread out the letter of threatenings and blasphemies before, you so I lay before you. You know the all that is my heart and how feeble it is. Would you not bless, Lord, the work that is done in your Son’s name? I am not a descendent of David, yet I have no other name to cling to but He. Would you not bless me and this work for Jesus’ name sake the work that is done in His name?
