2 Thou shalt not follow a multitude to do evil; neither shalt thou speak in a cause to decline after many to wrest judgment:
Don’t follow a mob to do wrong. Don’t twist the truth to agree with what everyone is saying.
We have a Savior who had many reasons to give people what they wanted, and when the Truth was opposed to the whole world’s opinion, he stayed the course even to death, so that our guilt and inability to follow the truth could be forgiven. Thank you, Lord Jesus, that you still chose to love me when I twisted judgment and went along with the crowd even when I knew it was wrong.
