This desolation was not the end of Jerusalem however. Isaiah saw a future Jerusalem that was the established capitol city of the world that all nations would do obeisance (2:2) In this future age war will be a thing of the past (2:4) and the LORD Himself will be the world’s judge manifested in actuality.
